Junior College is the +2 stage after the standard X as per the educational pattern followed in Maharashtra state and other states in India. It comprises the First Year (XI standard) and the Second Year (XII Standard) of Junior college.

As per the eligibility norms prescribed by the Deputy Director of Education, Pune. Students seeking admission to Standard XI must apply via the Centralized Admission Process.
Students of XI Science (Aided/Un-Aided) have the following compulsory subjects and must have one of the following subject groups as optional subjects along with one Second Language.
Note: Second Language does not apply to the students opting for Bifocal subjects (Computer Science/Electronics)

NOTE: The Bifocal subjects (Electronics/ Computer Science) and Information Technology are Un-Aided courses. Hence, they attract additional fees. Moreover, there are limited of seats for each subject. Admissions to these courses are undertaken on the basis of merit and constitutional reservation guidelines.

To pass Std XI, a student must obtain (i) minimum of 35 percent marks in EVERY subject & (ii) a ‘pass’ grade in EVS and HPE independently.
All Oral/ Practical and Theory (Written) examinations are compulsory for students.
The Admission Procedure for Std. XI is conducted according to the norms prescribed by the Deputy Director of Education, Pune.
>It is the second year of the +2 level which begins from Std XI. Students continue to learn respective subjects as per the curricula and syllabi prescribed by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

Submission of assignments/projects for EVS and Health and Physical Education is compulsory. In case of any lapse on the part of the student, the HSC Board may withhold the student’s final-result of Std XII.
All Oral/ Practical and Theory (Written) examinations are compulsory for students.
Students from other colleges who wish to seek admission to Std XII will be governed by the norms laid by the Deputy Director of Education, Pune.
75% attendance for lectures and practical sessions in each term is compulsory.
Satisfactory completion of requirements under the schemes of Health and Physical Education (HPE) & Environmental Science (EVS) is compulsory.
A student will not be allowed to appear for the HSC Board Examination unless he/she produces a certificate of satisfactory completion of work from the concerned Teacher-in-charge.
