The M.Sc. in Data Science is a two-year full-time postgraduate program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in data analytics, statistics, machine learning, and big data technologies. Offered under the NEP 2020 framework, the course integrates theory with hands-on training through programming labs, projects, and case studies.
Students will gain practical skills in tools like Python, R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks, preparing them for careers in data science, analytics, AI, and related fields. Graduates can pursue roles such as Data Scientist, Analyst, AI Engineer, or continue in research and academia.
The intake capacity for M. Sc. (Data Science) is 30 students. The college follows the reservation policy as per government of Maharashtra and the Savitribai Phule Pune University norms for the admissions.
Graduate degree in Mathematics/ Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Application/ Engineering / Technology or any other discipline with a minimum of two years of learning mathematics or statistics from a recognized university / institution with an equivalent qualification.
A Student has to obtain/ download the Admission Form in prescribed format from the College website.
Students should see the updated merit list on the college website and take admission by paying the fees.
